False Compassion

He begins by relating the parable of the Good Samaritan to illustrate the correct type of compassion, or true compassion. Then he discusses compassion that is false, where the perpetrator, instead of the victim, is pitied. Bishop Sheen discusses that as this false compassion has risen, so had the crime rate increased.
